Bateria Nota Cem

is a reduced formation, along the lines of a traditional samba school drum set, which seeks the musical experience of UFSC students in Joinville, in different musical rhythms. Participates in competitions between heats from other courses and universities.

The main functions of a samba school drum kit include:

• Time marker: The drums are responsible for keeping time for the music and the parade.
• Rhythm and beat creation: The drums create a rhythmic beat that is characteristic of the samba musical style.
• Support for sambistas: The drums provide a powerful and captivating musical accompaniment for sambistas, who sing the verses of the samba-enredo.
• Percussion Solos: The drums often feature percussion solos, in which talented players are given the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in a moment of prominence.
• Percussion choreographies: The drums perform percussion choreographies, which involve choreographed movements by the instrumentalists while playing. This adds a visual element to the performance and makes the drum performance even more impressive.
• Plot interpretation: The drums often seek to incorporate elements of the samba school plot into their music and presentation, in order to tell the story being portrayed in the parade.

Cheerleaders Camaleão

Cheerleaders are members of a team that perform choreographed and acrobatic routines, usually in support of sports teams such as American football, basketball, soccer, and other sports.

Its main functions include:

• Encourage the team: The cheerleaders are tasked with cheering and motivating the players and the public. This includes chanting, cheering, clapping and using pom-poms to create an exciting and positive atmosphere during games.
• Perform choreographed routines: Cheerleaders often perform choreographed routines that involve dancing, acrobatics, and synchronized movements. These routines are designed to entertain the audience and demonstrate the cheerleaders’ skill and coordination.
• Keeping the crowd’s energy up: Cheerleaders are responsible for keeping the crowd’s energy and enthusiasm high. They lead chants and applause to encourage the audience to support the team.
• Entertainment During Intervals: During intermissions at games, cheerleaders often perform special performances, such as dancing or more elaborate acrobatics, to keep the crowd engaged and entertained.
