Nisus Aerodesign
Nisus Aerodesign is an aerodesign competition team that creates and executes projects in the area of Aeronautical Engineering. The team’s main objective is to design and build a small radio-controlled aircraft capable of taking off while carrying cargo inside, and, with these projects, participate annually in the SAE Brasil AeroDesign competition.
Despite focusing on aeronautical projects, Nisus also deals with marketing projects, fundraising and project and people management. The team was created in 2010 and is located at the Joinville Technological Center, campus of the Federal University of Santa Catarina.
Kosmos was founded in 2013 by a group of students who wanted to apply in practice the knowledge acquired in the classroom, from building rockets. There are two major events that Kosmos participates in, namely LASC (Latin America Space Cup – São Paulo) and the Curitiba Minirocket Festival.
